Here I am, stuck in the middle with you..
Apr. 22nd, 2017 08:38 pmResources had been running thin at the tavern, which drove Matt out every day to hunt down supplies that the others might not have sensed. Buried caches of food, bottles that hadn't gone over, canned food that didn't hold the stink of botulism.
He'd been ranging out further every day, covering more ground and bringing back anything he could find of use. Medical supplies, weapons, food and other necessities.
The fog cane out of nowhere. There had been no shift in temperature, pressure or anything else to tell Matt that this was an ordinary weather occurrence. It was thick, it was cold, it was.. it was alive.
It also wasn't something he could fight, so Matt ran. Ran for his life from the fog, barely managing to take shelter in a halfway collapsed convenience store.
He fishes for his communicator as the doors start to bang.
Wonderful.
